Collaborative Divorce is an alternative approach to a traditional litigated divorce and to mediation. In Collaborative Divorce each spouse is represented by their own attorney. The attorneys agree not to litigate. Discovery proceedings are open and the couple works with a team to assist them through the divorce process. The team includes a divorce coach, a neutral financial professional and if needed, a child specialist. Mediation

Mediation allows the Parties to resolve their disputes with the assistance of a trained mediator. The mediator does not represent the Parties. The mediator’s job is to assist the Parties to resolve their issues on terms that are satisfactory to both Parties. In mediation the Parties determine the outcome with the assistance of a mediator.
